Alan  Weinblatt, an independent college guidance counselor, attorney and  business consultant began his counseling career in 1990 with his own  four high school children and their friends as his first clients. He successfully coached many students and their families in  the college search process. Alan and his wife Gloria traveled to  many parts of the United States scoping out colleges and universities  and their admission policies and procedures. Their goal has been to help  families work together to make the college search process easy, fun and  educational while finding the best educational fit and funding for their  clients. 

As our  marketing director, Gloria Weinblatt seeks out locations for our  seminars. She is responsible for press releases and publicity so that  you know where to find our seminars. Gloria was the publisher of  Travelhost Magazine for 12 years until it was sold in 2000. She has been  a leasing agent for apartments in Dallas, TX. Gloria was busy for  several years raising her 4 children, who have all finished college.

Betsy has joined College Advisors Network after Alan successfully helper her daughter find the perfect fit college for their family. Since then, she has worked with Alan to guide many other students and their families to find their perfect fit schools for them. Betsy has been a public school teacher for 30 years and is dedicated to helping launch students into successful college careers. She loves to travel to college campuses and learn things they don’t tell you on their websites. 

Bob has worked in various marketing positions in his career with multiple technology firms.  At these firms, he has developed high-performing teams to meet the staffing needs of these growing businesses.  In this process, he has hired many young professionals across a variety of backgrounds.  His corporate experience includes recruiting trips to business schools for mock interviews with young professionals to help them maximize their success during the corporate hiring process.  He now brings these awesome skills and experiences to College Advisors Network.
